I'm a big supporter of hobby shops and I always order whatever parts and kits I can. I want to be able to continue to zip down to the shop to pick up basic supplies and chat about the hobby. It also allows me to hold items for a short period of time until the budget allows me to pick them up. I don't have a huge budget, so I'm sure I'm not anybody's best customer. But I always try to find something to buy each time I stop at one. Greg Gordon, the owner of the Collinsville Hobby shop, is responsible for getting me back into the hobby in addition to modeling the New Haven Railroad.
